The 17-7 PH stainless steel fasteners are crafted from a chromium-nickel-aluminum precipitation-hardening alloy, which contains about 16–18% chromium, 6.5–7.8% nickel, 0.75–1.5% aluminum, and a low carbon content (≤ 0.09%). In their annealed state, these fasteners are both formable and ductile, but after undergoing precipitation-hardening heat treatment, they achieve exceptional tensile strength, impressive hardness, and outstanding fatigue resistance. They also offer good corrosion resistance in fresh water, industrial settings, and mild marine environments.
