The 17-7 PH stainless steel flanges are made from precipitation-hardening alloys that contain around 16–18% chromium, 6.5–7.8% nickel, and 0.75–1.5% aluminum, with a carbon content of ≤ 0.09%, along with trace amounts of manganese and silicon. In their annealed state, they exhibit good ductility and formability, but after undergoing precipitation-hardening heat treatment, they achieve remarkable tensile strength, outstanding hardness, and excellent fatigue resistance.
