Stainless Steel 317L Bars are manufactured from a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloy containing chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–15%), and molybdenum (3–4%) for enhanced corrosion resistance and pitting prevention. The low carbon content reduces the risk of sensitization during welding, ensuring long-term performance. These bars offer tensile strength ranging from 485–620 MPa and yield strength of 170–310 MPa, with excellent ductility and toughness. Stainless Steel 317L also provides good formability, weldability, and high-temperature oxidation resistance, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications that require structural integrity and durability.
